Court Disbars Edina Lawyer Who Stole $68K from Vulnerable Adults

Terri A. Hauge had been practicing law since 1980.

The Minnesota Supreme Court on Thursday disbarred Edina lawyer Terri A. Hauge, according to court records.

Hauge was first licensed to practice law in Minnesota on Oct. 24, 1980. The court has disciplined her three times since then, according to the Minneapolis St. Paul Business Journal.

Her disbarment arose from work she did as a guardian for 200 vulnerable adults. In 2010, she was charged in Rice County with stealing $68,000 from 10 vulnerable adults, according to a 2011 Star Tribune article.

She was convicted of six counts of swindling and one count of perjury.
