9-Year-Old Stowaway Will Stay Separated From Parents During 2nd Psych Evaluation
The boy, who stowed away on a flight to Vegas and drove a stolen truck into an Edina police car, will stay in "out-of-home" care for at least another month.
The 9-year-old boy who stowed away on a flight to Las Vegas and drove a stolen delivery truck into an Edina squad car will continue to live separately from his parents for at least another month.
A Hennepin County judge ordered a second psychological evaluation for the boy Wednesday morning after attorneys raised objections about the results of the first evaluation, KARE 11 is reporting.
In mid-October, Judge Joseph Klein ruled that the boy’s parents would be allowed unlimited phone calls and visits to their son while he’s held in an “out-of-home placement” and that all three would receive therapy.
