124 Edina Runners Finish Twin Cities Marathon
Levi Severson and Paula Vicker led among Edina residents, while Mark Brunsvold was the oldest Edina runner to finish.
Among the 8,849 runners who finished the 26.2-mile 2013 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon on Sunday, Oct. 6, were 124 from Edina.

Fastest Edina Finishers
Edina resident Levi Severson, 33, finished with a time of 2:30:25. He placed 41st out of 8,849 runners and 9th in his age group of men.

Paula Vicker of Edina, 48, finished with a time of 3:14:11. She placed 546th out of 8,849 runners, 90th out of 3,928 female runners, and 4th in her age group of women.
Oldest Edina Finishers
Mark Brunsvold, 62, was the oldest Edina resident to finish the marathon. His time of 3:33:49 was 9th in his age group of 143 men.

Anne Strachota, 60, was the oldest woman from Edina who finished the marathon Her time of 5:12:46 was 20th in her age group of 30 women. (Her 26- and 29-year-old daughters, Susanne and Elizabeth, also completed the race.)
Overall Leaders
Arizona resident Nick Arciniaga won the 2013 Twin Cities Marathon men’s race with a time of 2:13:11, according to a StarTribune.com report. Former Minnesota resident Annie Bersagel won the woman’s title with a time of 2:30:52.
The race began near the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome in Minneapolis and finished at the Minnesota State Capitol in St. Paul.
