Edina Introduces Online Utility Billing

Edina residents can now pay their utility bills online.

Users of the city's new utility website can make one-time payments or register to receive eBills. The website also allows residents to compare their usage to a typical user and view past water usage.

“We are very excited about this new technology because it will allow our utility customers to access their data anytime, not just during regular business hours,” said Eric Roggeman, Edina’s Assistant Finance Director. “Customers will be able to view usage and bills and make payments online. People have asked whether these options were available in the past, and now we will be happy to tell them that there are new options.”

Quarterly utility bills consist of water, storm drain and recycling charges. Edina hopes to enroll 20 percent of accounts by the end of 2015.
