Calvin Christian Cancels Monday Classes for Cold Weather
Other private schools in Edina have yet to make a decision.
In anticipation of severely cold weather, Calvin Christian School has cancelled all classes and activities for Monday, Jan. 6. St. Peter's Lutheran School and Our Lady of Grace had not made decisions as of Friday afternoon.
All public school classes were cancelled by Gov. Mark Dayton earlier this morning.
The National Weather Service predicts a low of -26 degrees Fahrenheit Sunday followed by a high of -17 degrees Monday. Winds of 10 to 15 mph will further add to the bitter cold. Tuesday.
