Mayor Jim Hovland is taking his monthly hour-long, two-mile walk with residents on Saturday along the Edina Promenade.
Residents who want to walk and talk with the city's top elected official should meet Hovland at 9 a.m. Saturday on the north side of the Yorktown Community Garden.
In case of rain, the walk will be held at Southdale Center, starting near Caribou Coffee.
The Grandview area and Centennial Lakes Park are among the areas slated for future mayoral perambulations.
