Thief Steals Suitcases, Laundry Baskets From Valley View Road Home

Monday, Jan. 6

- A wallet worth $145 was stolen from the Galleria Starbucks.

- A laptop, DVD player and GPS were stolen from a car on the 7300 block of Gallagher Dr.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

- A 26-year-old Orono man was arrested for driving drunk near the intersection of Hwy 169 and Hwy 62.

-Money and jewelry worth $260 were stolen from a home on the 3400 block of Parklawn Ave.

- A 25-year-old Minneapolis man was arrested for shoplifting from H & M.

- A 16-year-old boy was arrested for shoplifting $281 worth of clothes from Herberger's and giving a false name to police.

- A 27-year-old Bloomington man was arrested for a domestic assault incident at Southdale Theater.

Thursday, Jan. 9

- A vehicle was damaged on the 7300 block of Ohms Lane.

Friday, Jan. 10

- Suitcases worth $300 and laundry baskets worth $35 were stolen from a home on the 4500 block of Valley View Rd.

- A 45-year-old Apple Valley woman was arrested for shoplifting $380 worth of clothes from the Southdale Macy's.

- Three 24-year-old Richfield residents were arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop near the intersection of 69th Street and Xerxes Avenue.

Saturday, Jan. 11

- Two 18- and 19-year-old Minneapolis men were arrested for underage drinking and possession of marijuana on the 6300 block of France Ave.

Sunday, Jan. 12

- Two 19-year-old Edina women were arrested for underage liquor consumption near the intersection of Blake Road and Spruce Road.

- An 18-year-old Edina man was arrested for underage liquor consumption on the 6100 block of Pine Grove Road.
