Hilbert "Herb" Weiner, a Korean War veteran who owned an accounting firm, died on Dec. 31 at the age of 80.
Weiner served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war before graduating from the University of Minnesota with a Masters of Business Taxation, according to a Legacy.com obituary.
He later opened an accounting firm, H.S. Weiner CPA, in Minneapolis.
Weiner is survived by his children, Roxanne, Barry and Deanna Weiner; grandsons, Jacob, David, Cameron, Justin and Alex; niece, Nancy; and close friend, Jane Weiner.
