Dianne Dresser, Famous for Her Oatmeal Cookies, Dead at 77

Dianne MacDonald Dresser, a long-time Edina resident remembered by family for her love of people, infectious smile and unbeatable oatmeal cookie recipe, died on Jan. 18 at the age of 77.

"I will never forget Edies cookies that she made all the time for us," Nancy Robeson wrote in a Legacy.com guest book.

Dresser is survived by her children, Chuck, Elizabeth and Molly; grandchildren, Chelsea, Maddie, Jenna, Rachel, Sawyer and Audrey; and siblings, Judie, Sue and Dan.

A celebration of her life is being held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Colonial Church of Edina.
