Fairview Hospital Debuts Tiny Tuesday Farmers Market

The market is open 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through October.

With room for five vendors and tomatoes, onions, cucumbers and potatoes to die for, the new farmers market at Fairview Southdale Hospital is providing a low-key alternative to the bustle of Centennial Lakes.

The new farmers market opened for the first time on July 9. Produce vendors are opening their stands from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays through October 15 at the "Farm-to-Fairview" market's 64th Street and Drew Avenue location.

Vendors include Mai and Pa’s Flowers and Produce, Brand Farms, Svihel Vegetables and Fruits and Mai Lee. Parking is available in the hospital ramp or on the street at 65th Street and Barrie Road.
