Connections Academy Holds Traditional Graduation Ceremony in Edina

Graduates of MTS Minnesota Connections Academy, a K-12 online public school that students across the state attend from home, gathered with their peers, families and school faculty during a traditional graduation ceremony, Saturday, June 14, at Edina's South View Middle School.

One-hundred twelve seniors walked across the stage, a rite of passage that represents years of hard work put in by students, teachers, parents and administrators. A trio of students performed throughout the ceremony (pictured here, left to right): Josephine Kjenstad of Glencoe; Genesis Feliciano of Faribault; and Logan Vermeer, of Ramsey. Feliciano also spoke during the ceremony.
