Having the MLK holiday and President's Day so closely together as government holidays makes no sense. The King "holiday" should be removed as a federal day-off, and renamed a day of honor for MLK's contributions.
I was at the post office on Saturday, and the counter clerk told a fellow in line ahead of me that "some" businesses would be open on Monday. Well, most EVERY business is open Monday. BTW, the counter clerk was overwhelmed at the Edina post office. He was the only clerk at the counter, and the wait was about twenty minutes. Supposedly, the post office needs business.
