Juveniles Arrested for 'Ding-Dong-Ditching' Edina Homes

Police also charged a Brooklyn Park man with making 'terroristic threats.'

June 27

  • Mohmood Rasul Karimi, 19, of 7475 W. 123rd St., Apple Valley, was charged with underage drinking and driving after his vehicle was stopped near the intersection of Hwy. 100 and 50th Street.
  • Police responded to on a report of several smashed park benches valued at $800.
  • Police responded to the 5200 block of Lincoln Drive on a report of damage to a vehicle valued at less than $500.
  • Police responded to the 5100 block of Grove Street on a report of damage to a vehicle valued at less than $500.
  • Theotis Johnson, 41, of 1010 Currie, Minneapolis, was charged with theft after allegedly stealing and using a victim's credit card at Cub Foods.
  • Marvin Thompson, 44, of 3001 Oakland Ave. S., Minneapolis, was charged with theft after allegedly stealing and using a victims' credit card at Cub Foods.
  • Police responded to the 6400 block of Colony Way on a report of an attempted burglary.
  • A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage consumption after being observed climbing through the window of a house in the 5500 block of Warden Avenue.
  • Andrew Joseph Mogck, 18, of 6204 Parkwood Road, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage consumption after being observed climbing through the window of a house in the 5500 block of Warden Avenue.
  • Asia Louise Thornton, 18, of 5220 61st St. W., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and underage consumption after being observed climbing through the window of a house in the 5500 block of Warden Avenue.

    • Thomas Tyler Bush, 29, of 7250 York Ave., was charged with third-degree property damage for allegedly shattering a large glass window.
    • Police responded to the 7000 block of York Avenue on a report of stolen cell phone valued at $399. The phone was later returned.
