Southdale Center Announces Host of New Stores, Restaurants

The Edina mall will soon be home to Journeys, Wet Seal and maurices, in addition to several new restaurants.

The announcements just keep coming from , which is in the midst of a $19 million renovation project.

Southdale officials recently announced three more stores coming to the mall, including Journey's, Wet Seal and maurices. They'll join other like White House | Black Market, Sephora, Soma Intimates, Lucky Brand and Madewell. Journey's will open in November, while Wet Seal and maurices will come in fall 2013.

The mall is also set to gain a number of new eateries, particularly within its revamped Dining Pavilion. This winter, Qdoba, Panda Express, Subway Cafe, Dairy Queen and Teriyaki Japan will all be opening for business in the completely overhauled dining area.

A couple of full service restaurants are also coming to Southdale. Rojo Mexican Grill will both be opening at the mall next year, while Wasabi Sushi will open in fall 2013. Rojo will occupy the current location, when they in Richfield.
