Edina High School's junior varsity and varsity boys hockey teams will be spending an afternoon at Braemar Arena on Sunday, Jan. 27, to support a local charity.

The Hornets will skate with kids of all ages, sign autographs and talk hockey from 1-2:30 p.m., during the 5th annual Skate with the Hornets. The goal of the event is to both connect with local children and raise donations for Bloomington-based food shelf Volunteers Enlisted to Assist People (VEAP).

Skaters are asked to bring a suggested donation of a bag (large or small) of non-perishable food items for the VEAP food shelf. Cash donations will also be accepted.
