Pandolfi Closing Up Shop Thursday Evening

The Edina candy, gelato and gift shop will be shutting its doors for good on Thursday, Jan. 17.

Pandolfi—a popular Edina candy, gelato and gift shop—is closing up shop at the end of the day Thursday, Jan. 17.

In a message on the business' Facebook page, owner Jeanne Riha wrote the following:

"Unfortunately, running Pandolfi has proven to be more than a wife and mother of 2 young girls can balance with family life. We have met so many wonderful people, and appreciate the support and community you have shown our little shop."

Pandolfi has been running a going-out-of-business sale since last week, with a number of items deeply discounted. All merchandise is on sale for 50 percent of its regular price, with bulk candy going for only $2.50 per pound.

Gelato is discounted to $2 per pint and $4 per quart.

Pandolfi will be open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Thursday, its final day of business.
