Hornets Vying for 16th Consecutive State Title

The EHS girls varsity tennis team will face Minnetonka at 4 p.m. in the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.

 

Edina High School's girls tennis team has a shot at bringing home its 16th consecutive state title, when the Hornets face Minnetonka at 4 p.m. today, Oct. 24.

The Hornets defeated Rochester Century 6-1 Wednesday morning in the semifinals of the Class 2A state tournament, while Minnetonka got past Prior Lake, 4-3.

The team state title match will be held at the University of Minnesota Baseline Tennis Center.
